Hello All,
It’s been a relatively quieter week in regard to news flow / economic data & the indices have kicked off into Summer-mode as volumes have drastically dropped off & the indices have more so been in a slow churn / grind higher (VIX back to a 16-handle) with Small-caps currently leading the way, +119bps on the week whereas the Dow has been the laggard although still sits higher by 24bps.
Biggest event into the remainder of the week boils down to an update in regard to the developments between the U.S. & China trade talks in London along with CPI / PPI #’s into the remainder of the week.
Just over a month ago, we wrote about hard assets & the structural framework behind hard assets given recent events & future outlook along with some historical perspective as well… you can check it out below for those whom may have missed. The piece has aged quite well to say the least.
