Hello All,

I hope you all are enjoying the weekend and getting some time away from the screens & have had a good ‘25 thus far & I wish you all a successful remainder of Q2.

Looking back at this past week, it was a bit of sporadic one in regard to news flows as initially, indices quickly declined earlier on in the week following the Ukraine drone attack on Russia over this past weekend which ended up getting quickly bought & as the week progressed, we received more positive comments & progression between the U.S. & China following Trump’s phone call with Xi & then we finally had the Trump & Elon fallout as Trump wants his Big Beautiful Bill pushed through whereas Elon wants to cut spending & more so wants a ‘Slim’ Beautiful Bill… & finally to round off the week, NFP #’s came in better than feared which led the indices to close out the week at the highs & small-caps ended up being the best performing of the indices as IWM closed higher by 300bps whereas the Dow was the laggard on the week although still closed out higher by 160bps.

- Economic Data for the Coming Week:

In regard to economic data into the upcoming week, it’s a relatively quiet week ahead although we do have the meeting between the U.S. & China in London on Monday, but otherwise, the biggest event of the week is CPI #’s on Wednesday in which both headline & core are expected to rise slightly from the prior month.

Looking forward to the future as we continue to progress through ‘25.

Hard Assets in an Era of Soft Money

As global central banks quietly rearm their stimulus arsenals and fiscal deficits spiral past the point of discipline, the foundations of the global monetary order are beginning to crack. Amid this shift, one question looms larger than ever: Are we on the verge of a new commodity supercycle?
