To Cut or Not To Cut?
Hello All,
It’s generally been a quieter week within the indices as economic data in general has been lighter on the week & focus has more so entirely shifted back towards recent tariff headlines following the tariff delay exp. (has since been pushed back to the 1st of August), but otherwise, the indices are essentially flat on the week after initially kicking off the week with a decline following Trump’s tariff threats on countries whom aren’t necessarily important towards the U.S. as not much trade activity takes place hence the markets shook off the earlier on in the week decline & small-caps have been the best performing of the indices since on the week having risen by 78bps as the other remaining indices are essentially flat on the week.
In April, we wrote about hard assets & the structural framework behind hard assets given recent events & future outlook along with some historical perspective as well… you can check it out below for those whom may have missed.
